Boy Shot And Killed In Oakland

OAKLAND (CBS/BCN) -- A boy was shot and killed on a street Saturday evening in Oakland, according to police.

Police responded to reports of a shooting on the street near 66th and Avenal avenues at about 5:10 p.m., Oakland police Officer Moore said.

Officers arrived and found one boy suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene, Moore said.

No arrests have been made and police are looking for one male suspect. No details of the suspect were immediately available.
