A child who was allegedly abducted in Oakland by her biological parents on Tuesday has been located, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Amira was allegedly abducted by her biological parents, Andrew Coleman, 26, and Tamira Claggion, 24. Her paternal grandmother, who has sole custody of the child, was in front of her home at 12:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of 39th Street in Oakland when the suspects allegedly threatened her with a gun and assaulted her with a knife before they took the girl.

Coleman and Claggion have a history of drug possession, domestic violence, and making criminal threats, according to the Oakland Police Department.

The child's maternal grandmother is also a suspect, according to Oakland Police. She was identified as 48-year-old Chalita West.

Around 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, the CHP deactivated its Amber Alert it issued for the 2-year-old girl. There were no further details immediately given about the girl's condition when she was located. Bay Area News Group reported that the girl was found safe and that Coleman, Claggion, and West had been arrested.

Police said the suspects assaulted her paternal grandmother, who has sole custody of the child, and took her. According to police, the suspects used a gun and a knife during the abduction.

The grandmother had injuries that were not life-threatening.
