Diamond-Encrusted 24K Gold Version Of Apple's Smart Watch Costs $75K
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- If the mere idea of a smart watch seems like a waste of money, get ready to be flabbergasted because a luxury watch maker is selling a $75,000 diamond-encrusted version of Apple's newest gadget.
Well-heeled buyers can cough up a $10,000 deposit for the 24K yellow gold "Lux Watch Omni," described as a "custom Apple watch that is set with multiple rows of diamonds around the face, buttons and strap clasp as well as a full strap set with diamonds."
The watch comes in two sizes, and included a carbon fiber and suede lined aluminum case.
Apple unveiled its new smart watch to consumers in San Francisco Monday.
