2 Men Wounded In Separate Shootings In Oakland
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Two men were wounded in separate shootings in Oakland Saturday morning, police said.
Around 1:48 a.m., a man was shot in the 3800 block of Piedmont Avenue next to Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center, Officer J. Moore said.
The officer said an unknown suspect fired one round at the victim and fled the scene.
The victim went to a hospital with a gunshot wound in stable condition.
Another man was shot around 8:10 a.m. at the intersection of Brookdale and 38th avenues, Moore said.
The victim was hospitalized in stable condition.
No suspect information in connection with that shooting was available.
