2 Men, 12-Year-Old Boy Hurt In Separate SF Shootings

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Two men were shot and a 12-year-old boy injured in two shootings Monday in San Francisco, according to police.

A 23-year-old man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot shortly after 2 p.m. on the first block of Osceola Lane, Officer Albie Esparza said.

A 12-year-old boy was also struck by glass fragments in the leg in the shooting, which is being investigated as potentially gang related.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, wearing black clothing.

Around 7 p.m. on the 500 block of Bayshore Boulevard, a victim walking into a liquor store was shot in the arm. The victim's injuries were not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made in either shooting, Esparza said.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call (415) 575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411.
