2 Hurt In Oakland Shooting

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A man and a woman are in stable condition after they were shot in East Oakland Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Police were notified by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office about 2:08 p.m. that a vehicle had arrived at a local hospital with both the driver and passenger suffering from gunshot wounds, Oakland police Sgt. Chris Bolton said.

The incident was reported to have occurred near 69th Avenue and International Boulevard, Bolton said.

Bolton said anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information about the shooting should call police.

No suspects had been identified in connection to the double shooting, police said.
