2.2 Magnitude Quake Rattles Sonoma County
THE GEYSERS (CBS/BCN) The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.2 struck this afternoon in Sonoma County.
According to the USGS, the earthquake struck at about 2:45 p.m. and had a depth of 1.9 miles.
The quake was centered about 4 miles east-southeast of The Geysers and 15 miles east of Cloverdale, according to the USGS.
