1 Dead, 2 Hurt In Richmond Shooting

RICHMOND (CBS/AP) --One man was killed and two other men were injured following an early evening shooting in Richmond's Park Plaza neighborhood, according to authorities.

The city's ShotSpotter system alerted police about a shooting around 5 p.m. as officers found three men in their 20s suffering from gunshot wounds.

Lt. Andre Hill said all three victims were taken to local hospitals where one victim died about an hour later. The other two men suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Hill says the men were all believed to be from Richmond. Their names have not been yet been released.

Police say no arrests have been made.
