1 Dead, 2 Hurt In Oakland Shootings
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- One person died and two others were wounded -- one critically -- in three separate shootings in Oakland overnight, an Oakland police officer said.
A person was found shot to death at 92nd Avenue and Cherry Street at 12:30 a.m. Friday, Officer Kevin McDonald said.
The Alameda County coroner's bureau was not releasing the person's identity pending notification of family.
An earlier shooting reported at 9:48 p.m. Thursday left one person in grave condition, McDonald said.
The victim was found in the 5700 block Elizabeth Street.
They remained on life-support at the hospital this afternoon, he said.
A third shooting was reported around 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of 106th Avenue, McDonald said.
The victim was found with a gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital in stable condition, he said.
No suspect information was available in any of the shootings.
