Metal detected: Security measures on full display at Aftershock

The four-day music event Aftershock is one of the largest in the city. This year, 150,000 people are expected to attend. More people sometimes means more potential for trouble. We saw the security setup in years past: clear bags, no open liquids, and metal detectors. On Thursday night, the music stopped and the emergency alert system was tested over the venue's speakers.
