That means the Jets will be on short rest, while the 49ers have an extra day to prepare for their guests. San Francisco has an 11-game losing streak, and this may be the team's last chance for a second win in 2016.
Both the Oakland Raiders and Kansas Chiefs will be fighting for the top seed in the AFC playoffs. With both Oakland and New England sitting at 10-2 in their respective divisions, Kansas City is right on the doorstep at 9-3.
