Wookiee Wanted: Sacramento Police Searching For Man Dressed As Chewbacca
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Sacramento Police are on the lookout for a wookiee on the loose.
Officers got a call that a man dressed as Chewbacca was related to a family disturbance in the 1500 block of Ortega Street.
It's unknown where the man posing as one of Kashyyyk's most famous sons is, or if he is just early for the Thursday premiere of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
Wookieepedia describes wookiees as "tall, hairy humanoids that were native to the planet Kashyyyk." After the transition from the Galactic Republic to the Galactic Empire, wookiees were enslaved and forced to work to death in the Kessel spice mines.
