Woman Arrested On DUI Charges After Slamming Into Home
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – A woman is behind bars facing DUI charges after slamming her car into a Sacramento County home while a family was asleep inside.
The accident happened overnight at Hamilton Street and Hillsdale.
A family was sound asleep when the woman lost control of her car hitting a fence and tree before slamming into the side of the home.
Police say the woman's blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.
The woman was arrested.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the accident.
No word on how much damage was done to the home.
