Woman Accuses Kings' Cousins Of Sending Lewd Photo

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A woman claims Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins sent her a text message with an inappropriate picture, but Cousins' agent says she's the one acting out of order.

It's another bump in the rocky road that has been Cousins' two-year NBA career — allegations from an Alabama woman reportedly named Asia Giselle Monroe that Cousins sent her a photo of himself naked.

But Cousins' agent, John Greig, denied the picture was of Cousins, posting on Twitter, "for the record the pic is fake and the young lady will be in court for her mistake."

Fans say they don't know who to believe.

"I'm unsure, I need to find out, but it's a wrong," one said.

Cousins was not made available to the media during Wednesday morning's shootaround before the team's game against New Orleans and he did not play in the game against the Hornets. The team said he suffered from food poisoning. The Kings also tell CBS13 they're looking into the allegations.

Cousins certainly is not the first high-profile person to be at the center of a photo controversy. A married Brett Favre allegedly texted naked pictures of himself to a New York Jets female employee in 2010, and former New York congressman Anthony Weiner resigned from office after he admitted sending inappropriate photos to women over the Internet.

The sometimes combustible Cousins has managed to stay away from controversy since his early-season squabble with then Kings head coach Paul Westphal.

Cousins was suspended for allegedly asking for a trade. Shortly after that, Westphal was fired.

Now Kings fans are hoping this latest incident won't affect Cousins' progress as a player and person.
