West Sac Officer Shoots Suspect Who Made Grab For Gun
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A suspect is in the hospital this morning after being shot by a West Sacramento police officer.
Officers say it was just before 11:00 Monday night when they went to a home on Platinum Lane for a domestic assault.
They say someone rushed at an officer and the tried to grab the officer's gun.
The officer pulled out the gun and fire hitting the suspect once.
The suspect was taken to the hospital. Their condition is not known.
The West Sacramento officer is on paid administrative leave during the investigation.
