Vacaville Chase Suspect Shot, Killed By Officer
VACAVILLE (CBS13) - Vacaville police say they were forced to open fire on a suspect, killing him after a chase through the city.
Police say they were investigating a call for suspicious activity near Ulatis and Chrstine Drives overnight when they spotted the suspect's car.
The driver wouldn't pull over and lead police on a low-speed chase through the city.
Officers say he didn't stop even after popping his tires and drove right at police before getting out of the car with a knife and other tools.
That's when an officer fired and killed the suspect.
The officer is on administrative leave.
