UC Davis Protesters Return To 'Occupy' Campus
DAVIS (CBS13) - Participants of the UC Davis Occupy movement are beginning to pitch tents again to re-occupy the quad today.
Their return comes nearly two months after police pepper-sprayed students, an incident that made international headlines.
University officials have said upon the occupy protesters return, they will assess the situation and proceed in the best interests of the university.
At least one tent was already up in the quad before 6:00 this morning. While the Occupy Davis protestors are aligned with demonstrators across the country, many are also focusing on the UC Regents and tuition hikes.
