Two People Arrested In Connection With Parking Meter Thefts In Stockton
STOCKTON (CBS13) – Two people have been arrested in connection with the recent theft of dozens of Stockton parking meters.
About 86 of the meters were stolen from downtown Stockton over the past two weeks.
Two people were arrested Thursday in a homeless camp where officers also found several of the meters, according to Officer Joe Silva, a Stockton Police Department spokesperson.
The suspected thieves have not been identified.
Police say the meters appear to have been cut off using a pipe cutter.
