Two Killed During Birthday Party At Oakland Art Gallery
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Police in Northern California say two people were killed and two others wounded outside a birthday party held at an Oakland art gallery.
Oakland police Officer John O'Reilly tells the East Bay Times (http://bit.ly/2bvf9Zw) officers responded Sunday morning to reports of gunfire and two men were pronounced dead at the scene.
O'Reilly says a dispute started inside the party and spilled outside, where at least two people opened fire.
A woman was also wounded in the shooting, and another man cut himself when he ran into a plate-glass window as he tried to avoid the gunfire.
O'Reilly says investigators are still trying to determine a motive in the shooting. No arrests have been made.
The party at Prime Development, an art gallery and vintage clothing store, was to celebrate a man's 20th birthday.
