UPDATE: Driver Dies After Flipping Truck Onto I-80 On-Ramp In Roseville

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) — A 43-year-old Roseville man who rolled his pickup truck onto the Interstate 80 on-ramp at Riverside Avenue in Roseville on Monday night died Tuesday morning.

The man was driving on Orlando Avenue near Auburn Boulevard when his 1989 Chevrolet pickup went off the roadway, through a fence and rolled onto the on-ramp. The man was ejected. He was taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center before succumbing to his injuries.

The accident happened at about 8:45 p.m. Monday. Roseville Police and Roseville Fire personnel responded. The roadway in the vicinity of the collision was closed until approximately 4 a.m. Tuesday morning while investigators examined the scene.
