Man hospitalized after stabbing in Tracy; suspect arrested
TRACY – Police have made an arrest after a man was stabbed in Tracy Monday evening.
Tracy police say, just before 7 p.m., officers responded near 7th and C streets to investigate a reported stabbing in the area.
Officers found a man who had been stabbed. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive, police say.
Investigators eventually identified Tracy resident Frank Blancarte, 48, as the suspect. Tracy police said Blancarte was arrested at his job on Tuesday and was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.
The circumstances of the stabbing remain under investigation.
