Three Keys to The Sacramento Kings' Early Success

1. DEFENSE

This is something that did not exist last year, this Kings team is putting pressure on the point guard and forcing teams to take shots they don't want. There is still a lot of work that needs to be done with the rotations but it's still early.

2. Ball Movement 

Offensively this team has been showing fundamental basketball by making the extra pass and attacking the gaps. Players are being less selfish and more in-tuned with how the game of basketball should be played.

3. Excepting Roles

Jason Thompson has shown improvement on the floor by accepting his role on this team and not trying to be a player he isn't. He is grabbing boards and passing the ball around the floor rather than taking a low percentage jump shot.
