Third Suspect In Father-Son Murder Makes Court Appearance
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The third suspect in the deadly shooting of a father and his baby faced a judge for the first time Monday.
Christopher Strong was arraigned but his case was continued until next month. Strong is accused in the 2007 murder of Sean Aquitania and his 8-month old son Sean Jr.
Officials believe the father and son interrupted a home invasion in south Sacramento.
Sean Jr.'s mother was in court for Strong's hearing on Monday and said it was difficult.
"You're looking at someone who took your family and ruined your life," Monique Dela Cruz said. "So sitting there is not easy but it's important to us because there is no one here to speak for Sean or Sean Jr. and it's up to us to support them."
Two others have also been arrested in this case and investigators say no other suspects are being sought.
