The Don Geronimo Show - May 11, 2012

Don begins the day with the cover of the new TIME magazine over, in which a 4 year old boy is breastfeeding on a very hot woman. The guys all agree that is one lucky kid! We then hear that a third man has stepped forward in accusing John Travolta of sexual assault. Little Joe says he thinks that soon enough, Travolta will be the "Tiger Woods of male masseusses." Don then tells us about the conversation he had with Dave yesterday, which he says was good. The guys are all still bummed about Dave leaving, but know he will bounce back in no time. We then hear the video clip Noodles took yesterday, of Craig puking during the last segment. Apparently Don watched it 10 times yesterday, and it never stopped being funny! Craig then reads the texts he got from his dad after the show yesterday, in which his dad expresses his disapproval for Good Day Sacramento.

In light of Mothers Day, Don plays his signature mash up of Jimmy Dean's "I.O.U." and "Mommie Dearest, before having comedian Wayne Brady in the studio. Wayne, who is performing at the Punchline in Sacramento Friday and Saturday, tells us about being in show business for 24 years, his new improv show on ABC with Fred Willard, meeting Monty Hall- the orignal host of "Let's Make A Deal," and his worst acting gigs ever. He also does an intro for Phantom News!

After Wayne, Don tells us his story about getting into the radio business at 12 years old, and how the business has changed in the past 40 years. We also see a video of Dallas Cowboys coach Rob Ryan's van, before going into a discussion about why men are the most hated people in commercials. Don even plays examples of commercials that make men out to be idiots. We then hear that Rihanna may finally be done with Chris Brown, as she has stopped following him on Twitter, and some "Original Comedy" from Little Joe's show prep site about Mothers Day.

It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom talks about Mick Jagger hosting SNL's season finale with Foo Fighters as the musical guest, a cafe in New Jersey that has a sandwich called the "I.C.U.," a new Freddie Mercury movie in the works, and the movies that come out this weekend. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
