The Don Geronimo Show - June 8, 2012
Don begins with Phantom, who's 2 boys are graduating today: Kyle from high school, and Zach from middle school. Don tells us his story about leaving high school early because he had enough units to, but forging documents so that he could walk with his friends at the ceremony. He also tells us about the last day of the year pranks he and his buddies would pull. We also hear a parody ad for a "racist Siri," and get a boxing update from Little Joe, who apparently inadvertently punched his dad last night at his daughter's softball game. He even comes into the studio to blind spar with Craig.
Don then has Dennis Hof from the Moonlite Bunny Ranch in Reno on the show to talk to loyal listener Ryan, and his dad Dave, who won the Fathers Day contest yesterday. Dave and Ryan give the full details of Ryan losing his virginity, and tells Dave that it won't be 15 women pleasuring him, but 40! He even offers Ryan a chance to indulge in the festivities. The guys then hear new details about the "America's Got Talent" fraud who claimed to have gotten injured in Afghanistan, including his ex-wife saying he never had a stuttering problem. We also hear Charlie Sheen freak out outside the Staples Center last night,a guy who became a musical genius after banging his head on a pool, and a new parody song called "My Diploma," inspired by The Knack.
After a quick discussion of where Don's going to put Craig once Steve Bryant starts next week, It's time for another edition of "Stump The Stoop." Don, Phantom, and Craig once again play the game with the new "pick the decade" format, and while both Phantom and Craig have their moments of brilliance, once again Don dominates, scoring a 39 out of 50! We then get a visit from loyal listener Suzette (Miss Lucky Button), and a dancer from City Limits in Sacramento named "Jolie." Jolie gives Phantom a birthday lap dance, then does the same for Suzette, much to the guys' delight. It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom talks about last night's TV ratings, the movies coming out this weekend, the passing of Fleetwood Mac's Bob Welch, and a Colorado man who scalded his genitals at Arby's.And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
