The Don Geronimo Show - January 9, 2012

Today on The Don Geronimo Show, Dave won the bet with Don over the Denver/ Pittsburgh, so he won't have to shave his head. Don however, does have to watch Grandma's Boy now. Don then goes into a recap of his weekend, in which he and Janet took their dogs to Fresno, where they saw Jerry Seinfeld perform. While there, their dog Oscar busted a claw, and had to be taken to the vet, causing Don to miss the playoff games on Saturday. Don also tells us about the crazy woman who rushed the stage at the show, and that reminds him of an intern he used to have named "Louis the retard," who yelled "Don and Mike Jereeeeeee!" At one of Seinfeld's stage shows. Don plays the clip later on in the show.

After expressing his new found distaste for Ron Paul, Don plays a tape that has surfaced of Britney Spears singing in concert. The mix has her voice isolated, separate from the PA, and it's obvious that not only is she singing terribly, but they're not even using her voice in the live performance! This leads Don to pull out the famous isolated Linda McCartney tape of her singing "Hey Jude," as well as Enrique Iglesias butchering one of his crappy songs.

The guys then play "20 Questions For Grant." In this game, the guys guess the answers to the questions Dave emailed Grant over the weekend. Among the questions: Do you wear pajamas? What was the last concert you went to? and What is your favorite movie? Don also plays a clip of a stuttering basketball player, and a clip of a guy named Vermin Supreme, who is running for President, and wants to give every American a pony.

Actress Kristy McNichol came out of the closet over the weekend, to no one's surprise, and Don talks about a movie she was in called "White Dog," about a dog who is trained to attack black people. Don calls in Craig to sing the plot of the movie to 8 bit Creedence. Don then presents us with the "Dave News Network," in which every story involves racism of some kind. It is then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Among Phantom's stories today: The GOP polls, gas prices are increasing, the top 10 most ordered hotel movies, and the top grossing musical artists of 2011. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
