The Don Geronimo Show - January 19, 2012

Today, Don begins by telling us that Dave's dad thinks he's gay, or at least *thought* he was. Dave explains the story from 4 years ago, in which his dad told him he thought Dave was gay growing up, because of all the feminine things he used to do. Dave then tells us that there are times that he wishes he was gay, because, apparently to him, in some cases being gay would be easier. Dave even says that Pat Still from the Pat and Tom Show would be his ideal man, so Don calls Pat and Tom to tell them. Don also thinks that it would be a good idea to get Dave on Dr. Phil to discuss his gay issues.

After discussing Rob Lowe's tweet yesterday about Peyton Manning retiring, and a little more gay Dave talk, Don tells us about his son Bart wearing "My Little Pony" shirts when he was younger, just to screw with Don. He then tells us the story about walking in on his son working it to internet porn, and then tells us the "Condom Broke" story involving his son, which included a trip to the clinic for the Morning After Pill. After playing a Podcast clip that Dave sent Don of two stoners talking about Don on their show, Don calls in Craig to discuss the tattoo he will be getting on the air tomorrow in order to get tickets to the Niners/Giants NFC Championship game on Sunday. They decide on the Bill Walsh coaching tree, which will go right on his buttocks.

After talking about how lazy Noodles is, the guys discuss the Facebook page of a certain employee at the station, in which the guy is dressed in latex and drag. Apparently this is the FB page of his alter-ego. Don wants to ask the guy about it, but everybody else is afraid to, because the guy comes off as the kind of person who would shoot up the station.

After talking about Mark Wahlberg's 9/11 comment yesterday, and discussing Dave's favorite African-American people, Don plays radio legend Walt Shaw's version of the "Hey Baby Girl" video. Don then mashes it up with the original. We then get a visit from Noodles, who begins to read the transcript of the video, but when the guys make fun of him, he walks out of the studio.

It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Among the stories today: The Iowa Caucus recount, the biggest heartburn foods for football fans, a Harris poll that lists the most liked people on TV, the TV ratings from last week, and the new cast of Survivor is announced. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
