The Don Geronimo Show - February 16, 2012

Today we begin with Dave's visit to the gym last night, which apparently was the first time in ages! Dave tells us how much he hated the entire experience, which included a personal trainer for him and his wife, a new diet, and him feeling very sore today. Dave wonders if it's even worth it, and tells us he'd rather be unhealthy than live longer and be unhappy.

After hearing about a picture that Madison Square Garden put up during the Kings/Knicks game yesterday of Jeremy Lin's head coming out of a fortune cookie, and Floyd Mayweather's ignorant comments about how the media is handling Lin, Don reads off a list of the 40 most curious town names in America, including "Belcher, NY, which Don gives a call to. We then hear that Adele is NOT going to take 5 years off, as she had previously said, and we also hear Mike Tyson's S bomb during a halftime interview during the Kings/Knicks game. We also hear about a man who has a heart attack at the Heart Attack Grill restaurant in Las Vegas, and Don introduces us to a new sport: Ultimate Taser Ball.

The guys then play a round of "Bark For Cash" with the listeners, before Don reads a new list of Celebrities with disabilities, diseases, and disorders. Don then plays a video of a man with a frostbitten hand having the pus drained out of it, and a video of Jimmy Kimmel's Aunt Chippy flipping out on camera. Don then pulls out another educational film. This time, the film is from 1957, and it's called, "What To Do On A Date."

It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Among the stories today: Whitney Houston was seen heavily intoxicated in the days leading up to her passing, a guy that has all 30 Major League Baseball teams tattooed on him, the top 5 albums on Billboard this week, and Chik Fil-A is the most loved fast food chain in America. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
