The Don Geronimo Show - April 23, 2012
The week begins with a recap of Don's weekend, which included a carpet cleaning service Janet had hired that was supposed to take care of their water stained carpets, but never showed. Don tells us about the phone call he got in the afternoon from the 19 year old son of the business owners, and his "We forgot" excuse. We also hear that Ron Artest, fresh off his recent ejection for throwing an elbow at James Harden, gave Dave a call.
Dave tells us the details of the conversation, as Don finds it amusing that Dave was the one Ron called to talk him down. We also hear that Dave has changed his Twitter avatar to a picture of Rob from the hack radio show across the street. Apparently his pic has turned into a caption contest on Twitter.
Don then plays a clip of a news story posted back in December, about a guy who ate an ounce of cocaine out of his brother's rear end, and died. Don says that even though the story was 5 months ago, any story that involves eating blow out of someone's crack is timeless! It's then time for some good old Rob, Arnie, and Dawn bashing! Don reads a few of Rob's pompous blogs, including one on his house, in which he brags about how expensive it is, and tells us all the fancy things he has inside of it. Don also calls the show numerous times throughout the morning, most of the time getting hung up on. Don even has Craig, Little Joe, Phantom, and Slow Joe try calling in, trying to get on the air. Don reads a few more of Rob's arrogant blogs, before it's brought to his attention that the Rob, Arnie, and Dawn Wikipedia page has changed, as somehow some vulgar paragraphs about the hacks have been added.
After hearing a few clips, including Shaq saying someone farted in the TNT studio, Biz Markie saying he loves Barbies, and Suge Knight saying he hated the Tupac Hologram, it's time for the "Phantom News Hour."
Today, Phantom tells us that Zach Galifanakis will be airing his internet show "Between Two Ferns" at the Comedy Central Awards this year, some carjackers that got busted because they couldn't drive a stick, and the box office numbers from the past weekend. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
