The Carmichael Dave Show - December 1, 2011
Today on the Carmichael Dave Show, Dave kicked it off by talking about some of the trade rumors that are floating around about the NBA. Rajon Rando, the point guard for the Boston Celtics is rumored to be a player potentially on the move. So Dave asked this simple question, to get him in Sacramento you would have to either send Tyreke Evans or DeMarcus Cousins to Boston. Which one do you offer?
As always on Thursday the great Sean Salisbury came on to discuss his upcoming shoulder surgery as well as what he feels about the sanctions that are placed upon USC (his alma matter) for past violations. Should the NFL and NCAA work together to punish players in the pros should violations be reported after the leave college. He touched on the 49ers and their most recent game. And no Salisbury interview is complete with out a little Tim Tebow talk.
Dave called Avery the Greek for another round of Beat the Baby. Avery moved to 15-5 over the last 4 weeks and looks to continue her domination over the callers.
Former Sacramento Kings head coach Jerry Reynolds joined Dave to talk about the NBA lockout being over and the optimism that this free agent period could launch the Kings the way it did during the 98-99 lockout. They touched on the Arena situation as well as what the expectations are for this season.
