Teen Arrested After Chase And Crash In Stolen Car
SOUTH SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Two young teens are in trouble after leading police on a chase overnight in a stolen car with a cache of Halloween candy inside.
Police say the chase began when they tried to pull over the stolen vehicle.
The driver sped off and eventually crashed into a light pole at Ethel Way and Fruitridge Road.
Police say the driver was only 14-years-old and his passenger was also a young teen.
Officers say they found a large amount of Halloween candy inside the car.
Both teens had minor injuries. The driver was taken to Juvenile Hall. It's unclear what charges the passenger faces.
