Sutter County road closed after culvert failure
A partially collapsed culvert has a rural Sutter County road closed on Monday.
The culvert is located along Fifield Road, at Natomas Road, about 20 miles north of Sacramento.
Exactly what led up to the culvert failing is unclear, but the water level appears to be relatively high along the stretch of road.
Signs for "Culvert Failure" are posted leading up to the road. Drivers will need to detour around the closure.
