ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – A suspected drunk driver has been arrested after slamming into a Roseville building and sparking a fire that caused major damage, according to the Roseville Police Department.

The crash happened around 4 a.m. Wednesday at Atlantic and Jefferson Streets.

Police say the car was traveling westb on Atlantic and lost control on a turn, slamming into the building. The building then caught fire.

A passerby stopped to help, breaking out a window to get two people out of the car, police said.

Police arrived and arrested the driver for driving under the influence.

The building, believed to be a cabinet company, sustained heavy damage.
