Suspected Drunk Driver Found Hiding In Bushes After Fleeing Accident
CARMICHAEL (CBS13) - A man is under arrest after fleeing the scene of an accident overnight.
A car and truck collided near Madison Avenue and Dewey Lane early Friday morning.
When officers arrived, the driver of the truck had run away.
The truck driver was taken into custody a few minutes later when a nearby neighbor called police after seeing the man hiding in the bushes.
CHP officers arrested the man on suspicion of DUI.
Minor injuries were reported.
