Suspect Arrested In Fatal Stabbing Of 20-Year-Old At Sacramento Apartment
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies arrested a suspect just hours after a fatal stabbing at an apartment complex in the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento Wednesday night.
Deputies arrested 23-year-old James Matthews around midnight on murder charges.
Deputies responded to the Emerald Place Apartments on Fulton Avenue for reports of a man stabbed.
The victim died at the scene.
Officers believe Matthews got in an argument with a 20-year-old man before stabbing him.
Matthews is being held in the Sacramento County Main Jail without bail.
The Sacramento County Sheriff's department is still investigating.
