Store Video Captures Manteca Strong-Armed Robbery
MANTECA (CBS13) — Store surveillance video shows a man ride up on a bicycle outside a Quik Stop in Manteca, confront the victim and then proceed to beat him to the ground and rob him.
The incident happened Thursday shortly before 11 a.m. at 505 N. Main St. and the suspect, identified by witness statements as Antonio Beltran, 32, was arrested Friday at 10:46 a.m. by Manteca police's Street Crimes Unit after officers spotted him in the 100 block of East Alameda Street.
Beltran was transported and booked into the county jail. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and robbery.
