Stockton Standoff Ends Peacefully; Four People Arrested
STOCKTON (CBS13) – An attempt to arrest several people on a drug warrant lead to a short standoff in Stockton today.
The standoff began after San Joaquin County Sheriff's deputies went to serve narcotics warrants at a home near Olive and Drake avenues.
Deputies took three people into custody right away but one person took off and ran into a trailer behind the property.
The man refused to come out and more deputies were called.
After more than an hour, the suspect surrendered to deputies.
No one was hurt and no shots were fired.
