Possibly armed man not located after standoff at Fresno Avenue home in Stockton, police say
STOCKTON — A suspect in a domestic incident in Stockton who was believed to be barricaded in a home in Stockton was not located, police said Tuesday evening.
Stockton police said the scene was along Ridgemark Lane. Officers responded shortly after 11:15 a.m. to a report of a domestic disturbance.
A woman was located with injuries described as not life-threatening. Officers then learned that a man had possibly fled into a home on South Fresno Avenue, the main roadway from which Ridgemark branches, and barricaded himself. He was believed to be armed.
After multiple hours at the scene, Stockton police said the man was not located and the scene was cleared.
All closed roadways have reopened.
