Stockton chase ends in crash, sending 1 to hospital
STOCKTON – One person was taken to the hospital after a chase ended in a crash in Stockton Wednesday evening, deputies said.
The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said deputies tried to stop a vehicle near Flemons Avenue and Mariposa Road in southeast Stockton.
However, the suspect, who deputies said had outstanding felony warrants, took off with "complete disregard for the public's safety."
Deputies said the chases ended two miles later, near 8th Street and Airport Way, when the suspect crashed into a vehicle.
The driver in the second vehicle was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Two suspects were taken into custody, deputies said.
While searching the suspect's vehicle, deputies said they found about three bags, or about one ounce, of methamphetamine.
