Stockton Business Owners Propose Plan To Pay For More Police
STOCKTON, Calif. (CBS13) - Downtown businesses in Stockton are fighting police cuts, literally.
The city is bringing in Stockton natives and UFC fighters Nick and Nate Diaz for a fundraiser to knock out crime.
Organizers hope the event titled "Bring Back The Badge" will raise $15,000 to bring back downtown police bike patrols part-time.
Businesses say bad guys are causing more problems and hope the Diaz brothers will be a huge hit.
Tickets for the autograph signing event start at $10 and go up to $50 for a VIP Package.
