Starbucks Customer Says Message On His Cup 'Struck A Nerve'
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (CBS) - A Starbucks customer in Florida says a message written on his receipt left a sour note.
The message read "Diabetes, here I come." He had ordered a Grande-sized white mocha.
The man says the message hit home because two of his sisters have Type 1 diabetes.
"Seeing it and knowing the struggles my sisters went through in the third and fourth grade, it definitely struck a nerve," the man said.
Starbucks later released a statement apologizing for the incident and say they are making sure it won't happen again.
