Shotgun, Ammunition and Bulletproof Vest Found During Arrest Of Shooting Suspect
STOCKTON (CBS13) – Stockton Police found a shotgun, multiple rounds of ammunition and a bulletproof vest during the arrest of a shooting suspect early Saturday morning.
An officer working the Violent Crime Mission arrested 19-year-old Santiago Javier Sanchez at his home in the 1700 block of West Lane in Stockton.
Sanchez is a suspect in a February 7 shooting on Van Buren Street that wounded one man and resulted in three nearby schools being placed on lockdown.
He was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on gang and weapon charges.
