Shooting In Sacramento Leaves 1 Man Dead

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - One person was shot and killed overnight in Sacramento.

Police say they received a call just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday about a person who was shot and lying on the ground in the area of Marconi Circle and Auburn Boulevard.

Witnesses described seeing possibly two male suspects in their 20s wearing dark clothing who were running from the area on Auburn Boulevard shortly after the shooting.

Police say the victim was a male shot at least one time to the upper body. He was in his late teens to early 20s.

Police also say they do not have a good description of the suspects. They are analyzing video footage from nearby businesses.
