Several Suspicious Fires Erupt Overnight In Sacramento Area

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Firefighters had a busy night around the Sacramento area battling several suspicious fires.

The first fire broke out at a mobile home park on Marconi Avenue where a carport and vehicle went up in flames and began spreading to the home.

No one was hurt in the fire thanks to a neighbor who alerted the homeowners.

Another suspicious fire was reported in the Foothill Farms area at Andrea and Elkhorn boulevards.

Flames erupted outside a metal outbuilding.

Firefighters were able to put it out quickly before it spread to the inside of the building.

And later in North Highlands, a fire appears to have been set behind a business just off Madison Avenue and Roseville Road.

A dumpster and several rolls of carpet caught fire.

Like the others, the fire appears to be suspicious.

No damage was done to the nearby building.
