UPDATE: Missing Solano County Woman Found

VACAVILLE (CBS13) – A developmentally disabled 20-year-old woman who went missing Tuesday afternoon was found alive just before noon on Wednesday, according to the Solano County Sheriff's Department.

Solano County Lt. Gary Faulkner says a resident spotted the missing woman, Storme Palmer, in her backyard late Wednesday morning and called authorities.

Palmer was taken to the hospital to be checked by doctors but appeared to be OK.

Palmer was first reported missing around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday after walking away from a group home in the Allendale area north of Vacaville.

The Solano County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Team had been doing a ground search for Palmer while two helicopters helped search from the air.

Lt. Faulkner says this is not the first time Palmer has gone missing.
