SacRT Blue Line riders face April disruptions and bus bridges
Commuters on Sacramento Regional Transit's Blue Line will see disruptions throughout April, the agency says.
The disruptions are tied to ongoing work on SacRT's Light Rail Modernization Project.
A major part of the project involves raising station platforms to accommodate the agency's new low-floor trains.
Work will continue along the Blue Line throughout April, with bus bridges in place across several stretches.
From April 1-13, a bus bridge will run between Watt/I-80 and Roseville Road stations. From April 14-16, a bus bridge will run from Roseville Road to Swanston, with trains not stopping at Marconi/Arcade.
On the weekends of April 18-19 and April 25-26, a bus bridge will be in place from Roseville Road to Alkali Flat/La Valentina.
Later in the month, from April 20-23, a bus bridge will again run from Roseville Road to Swanston, with trains again skipping Marconi/Arcade.
In total, the project aims to update 15 Blue Line stations by 2027.
