Robbers Beat Man Leaving For Work, Steal Piggy Bank
STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say that a man who was trying to leave his house for work was beaten and robbed early Thursday morning.
According to the Stockton Police Department, the 36-year-old man had just left his 2600 block of Wesson Way home a little before 3 a.m. when two men confronted him. One of the suspects then beat the man with a pistol, police say.
The man was then forced to walk back to his home at gunpoint as the suspects went to look for stuff to steal.
Police say that the suspects took off with cash, two purses, and even a piggy bank.
The suspects, who were described as men wearing ski masks, were last seen running south from the home.
