Only 28 percent say the neighbors in their part of the state are doing enough to save water. The survey also found nearly half of residents say the mandatory restrictions are enough to respond to the drought.
The drought will not turn Lodi's grapes to raisins. In fact, local vintners report they are having one of the most attractive grapes on record, and they're expected to have a great harvest.
The city of Vacaville has started a series of workshops to discuss the impact of the drought and what can be done to save water. A workshop is scheduled for Monday night at the McBride Senior Center at Town Square Plaza. It's free to the public.
