Police: Stockton Developer Tim Egkan Found Dead

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say a Stockton developer was found dead early Sunday morning.

According to the Stockton Police Department, someone reported to officers that they saw a man lying in a gutter near Poplar and Lincoln Streets. Officers soon discovered that the man was unresponsive and had obvious signs of trauma.

Medics tried to resuscitate him, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Stockton Police have since identified him as Tim Egkan, a Stockton developer. Egkan had been working with the group Ten Space to revitalize some vacant properties in downtown Stockton.

Investigators have not detailed what kind of trauma Egkan suffered.
