Police: Home Invasion Robbery Suspect Threatened To Kill Infant

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say a group of suspects forced their way into a Stockton home and threatened to kill an infant if they didn't get what they wanted.

The incident happened early Tuesday afternoon at a home along the 3600 block of Remini Lane, according to the Stockton Police Department. Police say an elderly woman was home at the time with her grandchildren when someone rang the doorbell.

One of the grandchildren answered the door, but was immediately confronted by two men and a woman who forced their way inside.

Police say it was the woman who grabbed an infant and threatened to kill it if the elderly woman didn't give them money.

The suspects eventually found a small purse with cash and took off.

No one appears to have been hurt in the incident.
